The Search for The Lost Tibetan Kingdom.
We will be taking 10 Royal Enfields and a jeep into the deep dark orifices of Nepal and charting a route through the upper Mustang Region, encountering all manner of riding terrains along the way, high altitude carnage, and perhaps discovering ancient tribes.
Upper Mustang is commonly referred to as the lost Tibetan Kingdom. Due to its inaccessibility and government restrictions the region has been locked away for centuries.
Make no mistake this will be tough and is not for the faint hearted however it will be the experience of a lifetime.
Pillions are welcome (with a 25% discount, however only recommended for the extremely brave with arses of steel.
With all the usual inclusions including the $500 US permit to enter Upper Mustang.
The itinerary (subject to change without notice) goes something like this....
Day 1 Delhi to Gorakhpur by plane
Day 2 Ride to Pokhara, Nepal.
Day 3 Rest day in Pokhara while we obtain Upper Mustang permit. Pokhara is known for its paragliding, so if you’re into gently floating through the sky let us know and we will arrange it for you.
Day 4 Pokhra to the remote village of Tatopani and visit the hot springs.
Day 5 Tatopanni to Jomson.
Day 6 Jomson to Upper Mustang (Lu Mathang the ancient capital of Mustang, via Muktinath to Kagbeni)
Day 7 Spare day just in case of the unlikely event something does not go to plan!
Day 8 Lomathang to Ghasa
Day 9 Ghasa to Pokhra
Day 10 Pokhra to Lumbini
Day 11 Lumbini to Mahendernagar
Day 12 Mahendernagar to Delhi (Bus/train)
