Tasmania 1, 3 or 7 Day Tours (New 10 day itinerary out soon!)
The Wild Southern Wilderness - Australia's Island Paradise
300 kilometres off the coast of mainland Australia lies the motorcycling world’s best kept secret - Tasmania.
The variety of scenery and historic relics rival many European countries and its wildlife, isolated from the rest of the world for millions of years, is prehistoric and alien like. The people are few and far between but the country hospitality is massive. The wild west coast is largely untouched and sparsely populated but its roads and wilderness areas are unimaginable - the likes of which can no longer be found anywhere on the planet. Tasmania's beaches are pristine and empty, its rugged snow capped mountains are breathtaking, its deep river valleys are stunning, and its lakes are some of the most beautiful in the world. Its National parks occupy nearly 50% of the island and have been declared international biosphere reserves due to the extremely rare plants and animals found on the island. The entire island is criss-crossed by hundreds of networks of freshwater river systems.
But Tasmania is not just about nature. The island is littered with evidence of a harsh, rich, violent and vibrant past. The organic locally produced foods, especially sea foods, and drinks are abundant and there is not a straight road in sight. If the idea of leaning a Royal Enfield motorcycle hard into a hairpin turn with pristine rainforests on both sides, waterfalls in the distance and the smell of wilderness in your nostrils then this is the ride for you.
Come and explore it with us before the rest of the world finds out about this motorcycling gem.
